Hello :3, I've been quite bored recently so I decided to critique your work... Sorry if I'm being harsh on you.

Vision: obviously I was able to see this sprite clearly so you get and easy 5/5 for that one.

Originality: Well, can't say it was the most original thing I've seen since they're FCs but it's still pretty good.

Technique: Now this was your flaw. There were a numerous of mistakes that I have seen in this image, I'll notify you on what you should improve: 1. This is one of THE most important things in Sonic advance spriting. You MUSN'T use pillow shading. Sonic advance comes in only three shades of color. Now it's good that you didn't use too many unnecessary colors, however, the pillow shading MUST NOT BE USED. Next are the pants. Well all I can say is that it needs work. They... don't really look like pants. They are too baggy, they're pillow shaded and choice of coloring is too bland. You gotta work on the pants more by making them skinnier, in the proper shape of a leg and adding in the right wrinkles plus the choice of color. Tom's version one coloring seems better than version 2, due to the color difference between the fur. Their MUST be one pretty dark shade, one mid shade (the one you have is ok) and the light shading (which you should increase in brightness with). If you're character Verto has a scar, make sure it doesn't look... you know, fake. It kinda looks like a cut oval :/. Otherwise, I think the rest look really good. Just work on shading, making pants and work on Verto's scar.

Impact: The impact, REALLY impacted me XD! I like how you showed an earlier sprite with you're new design. It show how far you've gone to get to how skilful you are now (If that even makes sense). So ya...

I hope you don't take this critique wrongly, all you have to do is work on you're shading, pant-making and color choice and you'll be a great spriter in no time :3!
